SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank believes that business should take responsibility for community building. To that end they are actively investing in social impact entrepreneurs through a range of initiatives. One such venture is the Mill House, a social enterprise accelerator program.

As a founding partner in The Mill House, SERVICE ONE, in collaboration with University of Canberra and the Canberra Innovation Network, is a key supporter of this social entrepreneur program.

The program itself provides social enterprises with the tools, mentors and support they need to build viable and impactful businesses.

Mill House Ventures, headed by Cindy Mitchell, a social impact strategist and 2020 ACT Woman of the Year, is a passionate advocate for social enterprise and social impact investment globally.

The program, now in it third year, has supported and mentored successful social impact start-ups such as Kulture Break, Altina Drinks and Base Ethical Soap .

SERVICE ONE, also a social enterprise, recognises the need for societal change and the importance of business to be part of improving the lives and well-being of the broader community.
